Being a senior faculty of the Department, she has a spectrum of activities with 26 years of teaching experience. Her areas of research interest are Modern & Contemporary Drama & Theatre, Modern Hindi Poetry and Subaltern Studies. She has a special interest in Women Studies and Gender Studies. She is an avid academic with 45 Research papers to her Credit. She has authored and edited 4 books and also edited 3 academic journals. She has successfully completed MRP funded by UGC and was a part of UGC-DRS Phase II and UGC-DSA Phase I as a co-investigator.
She completed her PhD from the Department of Hindi, CUSAT. She has 16 years of teaching and research experience in the Department of Collegiate Education before joining CUSAT in 2021. She has over 60 research papers and six books in her credit. She has completed two Major Research Projects, sponsored by UGC and has produced 6 PhDs under her guidance. Her areas of research interest are Modern Hindi Literature, Theatre and Film studies.
Dr.A.K Bindhu received her M.A, M. Phil, PG Diploma & Ph.D. from the Department of Hindi, CUSAT. She has 13 years of teaching and research experience at the Department of Collegiate Education prior to joining CUSAT on 16-09-2022. Furthermore, she has more than 20 research papers to her credit and three books published in her authorship. She has attended Faculty Development Programs sponsored by the UGC at Jamiya Millia Islamia University, Himachal Pradesh University, Delhi University, Ranchi University, etc. She has been a resource person at national and international conferences organized by various universities in India and has presented more than 25 papers. Also, she is a member in the Editorial Board of Glacier Journal of Scientific Research, Ahmedabad since 2021. She is also a Board of Studies Member and Subject Expert in various Universities. She is the executive member (Vice President) of Bharatiya Sahitya Pratishthan, Kochi (National Centre for Literature and Art) since 2020.
His areas of Research interest are Hindi Drama and Theatre and Modern Hindi Literature. He has a special interest in Dalit Literature. He has 10 Research papers in his credit and edited 3 Research Journals. He is holding the position of the NSS programme officer. He was a part of UGC DSA Phase I and completed Seed Money Project funded by CUSAT.
He has done his Ph.D in Contemporary Hindi Poetry titled ‘Samakaleen Hindi Kavita mein Nav Upanivesh ka Pratirodh’. His areas of research interest are Modern and Contemporary Hindi Literature, Contemporary Hindi Poetry and Indian and Western Literary thoughts. He has authored one book and has edited 3 academic journals. He was a part of UGC-DSA Phase I and completed Seed Money Project funded by CUSAT.
Ms. Sreelekha K.N. completed her Master of Arts and Master of Philosophy from Cochin University of Science and Technology. She qualified UGC NET and now pursuing PhD in Hindi on Tribal Short Stories. She attended and presented papers at National and International level seminars. She published more than 20 articles in National/International magazines. Her book published with the title ‘Rose Kerketta Krut Biruwar Gamchha Tatha Anya Kahaniyan Mein Adivasi Jeevan’ in 2019. She received National Fellowship from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, New Delhi and got more than 9 awards from various institutions in India for her research activities. She has completed ASPIRE project funded by Kerala State Higher Education Department from Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalay, Wardha in 2020. Her area of research includes Tribal Philosophy, Contemporary Hindi Literature and Journalism.
She completed her Ph.D on the topic “Bharat Vibhajan Per Kendrit Hindi Upanyasom Ka Vishleshnatmak Adhyayan” from the Department Of Hindi, CUSAT. Her area of research is Modern Hindi Literature, Contemporary Hindi Literature, and Linguistics. She published a book with the title “Dastan –E- Darar: Hindi Upanyasom Mein Vibhajan”. She published more than 15 articles in National and International Journals. She is a dedicated, enthusiastic individual with outstanding academics.
